I treated my wife on her birthday as we both love Italian food and be assured, this is one of the best I have been too. The food, amazing. The ambiance, amazing. Wine, amazing. Service, again, amazing. Read this and be advised, go now!!!! You won't be disappointed.

We booked for our office Xmas dinner this year as have always have a super meal out here. We were not disappointed. We had a warm and friendly greeting and we were seated upstairs which is perfectly decorated, especially on a winters evening. The food and service were exemplary with everyone in our party enjoying their food choices. Steaks cooked to individual tastes were spot on and the tiramisu is a must. Thank you to everyone at Amore who work so hard for a great evening.

Excellent. Restaurant. Lovely ambience. Food was absolutely lovely. These one off restaurants are the best. Good menu with lots of choice. I had a nice veggie pasta dish and the flavours of the sauce were superb. I’d happily recommend and go back. I was really impressed. Pleased to have found the hidden gem.

What better place is there to dine on Valentines than a restaurant called Amore. As visitors to Stamford we were unsure of the local restaurants so chose Amore almost by name and we wanted an authentic Italian meal. We were glad we did because the food was excellent, all freshly cooked with delicious flavours. They had an excellent choice of wines and the service was perfect. We just wished we lived closer because Amore would definitely be a regular favourite of ours.

Have been meaning to visit Amore for some time and finally did so tonight. Well worth the wait. Very pleasant atmosphere, good service and lovely food - particularly enjoyed the gnocchi with monkfish.

This restaurant just got everything perfect tonight - because they made a mistake. We have eaten here about 20 times in recent years and everything is always spookily perfect, but tonight both steaks were overcooked, which might sound like a bad thing, but these things happen and all that matters is the response to the problem, and the restaurants response was immaculate. The Waiter recognised the problem as he approached our table and swept the plates away with a promise of free wine. Just before new steaks and sauce were returned the side dishes (roast potatoes and veg) were also replaced so as to be at their best with the main dish. This was all done proactively. Things do go wrong at all restaurants, all that they should be judged by is how they put things right. That is why I am writing this review, because everyone needs to know that this restaurant is the rarest of gems, because they care so much. They will ensure you have a wonderful meal and time. Also, the food is delicious and always has been :D (If the owner is reading this, congratulate your staff and know that you got it all right tonight. You should be very proud)
